How do you transport the dogs?

Your dog’s safety on the road is just as important as their safety on the trail. We transport our dogs in modern, fully climate-controlled vehicles, ensuring they stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Inside, every dog is securely and comfortably restrained using crash-tested travel harnesses or secure, padded transit crates, depending on what best suits their size and temperament.

Are you insured and DBS Checked?

Absolutely. We hold comprehensive, specialist pet-business insurance that covers public liability, care/custody/control of animals, and key holding. For your absolute peace of mind, we are also fully DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked. Copies of our insurance certificates and clear criminal record checks are always available to view during our initial consultation.

What training methods do you use to keep dogs safe and calm?

We are strictly committed to modern, force-free, positive reinforcement techniques. We believe that a tired dog is a happy dog, but a well-managed dog is a safe one. If a dog misbehaves or becomes overwhelmed, we use redirection, calm spacing, and reward-based handling to encourage the correct behavior. We never use aversive equipment, shouting, or physical corrections. If a consistent behavioral issue arises, we will always work transparently with you to align with your home training goals.

What happens in extreme weather (heavy rain, heatwaves)?

British weather is nothing if not unpredictable, but animal welfare is our hard line.In extreme heat: Walks are shifted to early mornings or late evenings, moved to shaded woodland routes, or shortened significantly. Any lost trail time is made up with cool, indoor mental stimulation, brain games, and garden play at your home.In heavy rain/mud: The walk goes ahead as normal (most dogs love it!), but we always factor in plenty of time for a thorough towel-dry and paw-wipe before settling them back into your home.

What is a "Meet and Greet," and is it required?

Yes, a Meet and Greet is a mandatory first step before we accept any new client. This is a complimentary, no-obligation visit where we come to your home to meet you and your dog in their natural environment. It allows us to discuss their unique personality, medical history, recall reliability, and triggers. It ensures your dog feels completely comfortable with us before their first official outing, and gives you a chance to ask any questions face-to-face.

Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?

No, the majority of our clients are busy professionals who are out when we visit. During our Meet and Greet, we can arrange secure key handling. Your keys are kept in a secure lockbox, completely unlinked from your address or your dog’s name for maximum security. We treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring it is locked up safely every time we leave and as clean as we left it.

How do payments and scheduling work?

To keep things effortless, scheduling and billing are fully managed online. Clients pay monthly via direct debit which is taken out of client's accounts so you don't need to worry about leaving out cash or tracking weekly invoices. You'll always get heads-up when money leaves your account and you can cancel your membership from your end. You’ll receive a digital schedule summary so you always know exactly when we are coming.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We understand that plans change and life happens. We offer a flexible cancellation window of 48-hours before the scheduled walk without any charge. Rescheduling walks is our preferred solution. However, cancellations made after this cutoff time will be charged at the full rate, as that dedicated time slot was reserved exclusively for your dog and cannot be filled at short notice.

Do you walk reactive dogs or older dogs?

Yes! We love all dogs regardless of their idiosyncrasies. For older dogs you may prefer our express walks: a calm scroll round the block, a good sniff and scritch behind the ears. For our reactive dogs, they prefer a similar experience however it's best for us to meet them and see if they get along with us.

What are your qualifications?

I have a qualification from the IMDT for professional dog walking and Canine Behavior training. I also am pet first aid trained and enhanced dbs checked.

What we sort out:We provide all the water (other than the stuff that comes out your tap and goes in their home water bowl), on-walk water bowls, treats and first aid kit.What we need:All we need are the dogs collar with attached owner details/harness and lead.
